Biography
Beezewax emerged in 1995 as a Norwegian pop group shaped by the sounds of Sugar, Hüsker Dü, and Buffalo Tom. The Oslo quartet includes Jan Erik Hoel on bass, Anders Isaksen on guitar, vocals, and synth, Stian Olsen on drums and xylophone, and Kenneth Ishak on vocals and guitar. Their debut, A Dozen Summers, appeared on LaNuGo Records in 1997. Two years later, Pop Kid Records released the follow-up full-length South of Boredom.
