Biography
Emerging at a time when fusing metal with indie leanings and electronic textures remained uncommon—far more so than it would become a decade afterward—Belfegore took shape around German guitarist and vocalist Meikel Clauss, Canadian drummer Charly T. Charles, and American bassist Raoul Walton. After securing a contract with Elektra in the early 1980s, the trio issued a self-titled LP in 1984 and soon slipped into obscurity.
