Big B brands himself "hip-hop's bastard" and "punk rock's fat brother" while holding dual roles as a member of the rap-rock outfit OPM and a solo act whose multiple projects have appeared on Suburban Noize, the Kottonmouth Kings' own imprint. The Kings first encountered him at a motocross gathering, an introduction that effectively opened their ears to OPM and paved the way for his own Suburban Noize deal. After OPM secured an Atlantic contract, the Kings extended Big B a solo offer that produced the 2004 album High Class White Trash. When OPM parted ways with Atlantic that same year, the group likewise moved to Suburban Noize and issued Forthemasses. Big B resumed solo work the following year with White Trash Renegade, then assembled the odds-and-ends set Random Stuff in 2006. Also in 2006 he joined the A&E reality series Inked, which centered on the Hart & Huntington Tattoo Company where he labored alongside motocross rider Carey Hart. Leaning into his 300-lb. frame, he delivered More to Hate in 2007, an album featuring Tech N9ne and Sen Dog. The 2009 release American Underdog shifted toward an earthier, blues-inflected sound that recalled the work of Everlast.
