Biography
In country music circles, Bob Bailey gained his widest notice through contributions as a backing vocalist, above all on mainstream acts' forays into gospel and seasonal repertoire. Esteemed as a session vocalist, he supplied vocals to projects by Reba McEntire (Rumor Has It, For My Broken Heart), Vince Gill (Let There Be Peace on Earth, High Lonesome Sound), Garth Brooks (Beyond the Season), Dolly Parton (Home for Christmas), and Sawyer Brown (Buick). He further recorded and toured with Wynonna while appearing alongside pop performers such as Billy Joel and James Ingram. His strongest solo gospel effort, I'm Walkin', received a Grammy nomination in the Best Male Gospel Performance category.
