Biography

Following his nomination for Top Newcomer Reggae Artist at the 2004 Canadian Reggae Music Awards, MC Casper rose to prominence as one of the leading voices exporting Canadian dancehall internationally. His first project, the 2004 release When U Whine It, captured the Toronto International Reggae Music Award for Best Dancehall Album in 2005, while Flex Flex arrived the next year and earned a best-album nomination at the 2008 Canadian Reggae Music Awards. In 2011 the Canadian Human Rights Committee presented him with an appreciation award, and Universal later handled distribution for his 2013 album So Hot.
