Biography
For close to thirty years, the expressive violin performances of French-speaking musician Catherine Lara have resonated with audiences. She launched her professional journey playing violin purely as an instrument before shifting toward pop and rock sounds during the middle of the 1970s, persistently blending her singing voice together with violin playing across numerous genres. Contributions from various skilled performers have added depth to her recorded works. In the initial years of the 1980s, Tony Levin contributed to a trio of her projects; subsequently, during the late 1990s and early 2000s, she collaborated with Eric Mouquet from Deep Forest, leading to his participation in the 2000 album Aral.
