Biography
Conjoint took shape as an ambient-jazz collective whose core lineup placed Karl Berger on vibraphone and Gunter "Ruit" Kraus on guitar, while David Moufang and Jamie Hodge supplied keyboards, electronics, and programming. The project originated in 1996 and issued its first release, a self-titled album, in 1997 on KM20 Recordings, the label run by Moufang; early in 2000 the group resurfaced with Earprints, which appeared on Source, Moufang’s second imprint.
