Biography
Formed in 1987, the satirical UK hardcore/metal quintet Creaming Jesus originated with vocalist Andy alongside guitarists Richard and Mario. Drummer Roy and bass player Tally later joined the lineup, leading to a contract with the independent Jungle label. Their debut release, bearing an amusing title, featured chainsaw guitars clashing against machine-gun drumming as the lyrics tackled timely topics including television evangelists, sexual perverts, childhood anxieties, and warmongers. Creaming Jesus, a name potent enough to induce apoplexy in the faint-hearted, maintained their basic abilities across multiple albums despite a lack of interest in subtlety.
