Biography
Though primarily recognized for her acting, especially her lead performance in the television comedy Wings, Crystal Bernard also ventured into songwriting. In the closing years of the 1980s and throughout the 1990s, various adult contemporary performers, including Paula Abdul, the Winans, Lisa Stansfield, and Tracie Spencer, interpreted several compositions penned by her. Her profile in music rose following the adult contemporary success of the duet "(I Wanna Take) Forever Tonight" alongside Peter Cetera, prompting her to issue her debut country record, Girl Next Door, during 1996.
