Biography
At the age of thirteen, saxophonist Dave Hubbard launched his musical path by joining the Baltimore Municipal Band in Maryland, his home state. Over the ensuing decades his work has encompassed performances alongside Ray Charles, Patti LaBelle, and Joe Chambers, as well as appearances on numerous recordings. In addition, he has supplied arrangements and original compositions for artists that include George Benson and Les McCann. During the late 1990s he became a member of Joan Cartwright’s Jazz Hotline, an affiliation that has continued into the 2000s.
