Diane Tell

Having originated from Quebec, Diane Tell acquired her guitar skills during childhood prior to relocating to Montreal in her teenage years. Local bar performances throughout the region allowed her to cultivate a growing audience that reached a peak with the 1980 popularity of "L'Eveche". The album En Fleche arrived that same year and moved 150,000 copies. Her remaining releases encompass Les Cinemas-Bas (1977), Entre Nous (1979), Chimeres (1982), On a Besoin d'Amour (1984), Faire a Nouveau Connaissance (1986), Paris Collection (1987), Paris*Montreal (1987), and Degriffe-Moi (1988).
