Dumpstaphunk

Dumpstaphunk emerged in the early 2000s as a varied New Orleans-rooted funk and jam ensemble founded by Ivan Neville together with his cousin Ian Neville, offspring of Art Neville. A live set recorded at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival served as the band’s opening release. Their first studio project arrived as the 2007 EP Listen Hear and led into three further live documents. The full-length studio album Everybody Wants Sum surfaced in 2011 and was succeeded by another live recording the following year. Dirty Word then appeared in 2013 as their next studio album.
