Biography
An ambient ensemble from Czechoslovakia known as the Ecstasy of St. Theresa featured vocalist and keyboardist Irna Libowitz together with sound designers Jan Muchow and Petr Wegner, bassist Jan Gregar, guitarist John Moore, multi-instrumentalist Misa Klimkova, keyboardist Colin Stuart, flautist Vladimira Jestrabova, and percussionist Katie Hecker. The group first appeared in 1993 via the EP ...fluidtrance centauri..., then issued the full-length Free-D (Original Soundtrack) the next year under Guy Fixsen’s production; thereafter Astrala Vista remained their sole release for an extended period even though live performances continued.
