Biography
Emily D'angelo, a mezzo-soprano of Canadian and Italian heritage, boasts a distinguished collection of honors and performances, having received her education in the vocal arts across multiple countries. She entered the world in 1995 and pursued her musical studies at the University of Toronto. In addition to receiving vocal instruction in Italy, D'angelo became part of the Ensemble Studio at the Canadian Opera Company. She gained entry to the Metropolitan Opera's Lindemann Young Artists Development Programme in 2017, leading to her initial appearance with the Met the subsequent year. Deutsche Grammophon released her first recording, titled Enargeia, in 2021.
