Biography
Eric Papilaya entered the world on June 9, 1978, in the Austrian town of Laakirchen. He represented Austria at the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest with the track "Get a Life -- Get Alive," an entry that did not advance to the finals. Universal Records later signed him and issued "Get a Life -- Get Alive" as a single, which reached number nine on the Austrian charts and earned Top Ten status. Papilaya had earlier appeared as a finalist on the television program Starmania.
