Faizal Tahir

Malaysian pop singer Faizal Tahir first gained notice as an ex-member of the Nasyid outfit Mirwana, then secured runner-up honors behind Suki Low on the televised talent contest One in a Million. Illness forced him to exit Mirwana in 2005, prompting a solo trajectory that soon featured not only that strong television showing but also a hosting role on Gangstarz and the 2007 arrival of his successful album Aku.Muzik.Kamu. Fueled by his broadcast profile, the record emerged as a collaborative effort whose tracks were written by Tahir himself together with regional figures such as Audi Mok, Omar K, and Teesh RS.
