Biography
A percussion ensemble launched in 1973 as a four-piece by Maham Konte later grew to eight members while making Geneva its base. Its schedule in the early eighties featured a Montreux Jazz Festival appearance plus tours through Europe and Japan. The musicians performed at the televised Mandela birthday party in London in 1988 and cut tracks with the Rolling Stones the next year.
