Filmmaker

Filmmaker originated as a Canadian quartet formed rapidly following the dissolution of the prior group involving bassist Michael Dawson and drummer Troy Bjorndal. Their notorious live performances earned them acclaim due to frequent bouts of onstage chaos and wreckage. Early prominence on the www.MP3.com platform paved the way for their well-received 2001 EP titled Break This Fall. Teaming up with Blair Calibaba, the producer behind Sum 41, the group entered the recording studio during 2002 to craft their debut full-length release. This effort, An Invitation to an Accident, came out in September of that year.
