Biography
Mark Robinson, previously the lead vocalist of Unrest and the creator of TeenBeat Records, oversaw a wide array of side endeavors that included the indie trio Flin Flon. The band assembled in September 1997 for the sole purpose of laying down three fresh Robinson compositions, with Matt Datesman of True Love Always supplying drums and former Cold Cold Hearts bassist Nattles rounding out the lineup. What started as a one-off session developed into a lasting unit by early 1998, beginning with the single "Swift Current" and followed shortly by the album A-OK.
