Frank Gambale

Frank Gambale gained prominence through his intense performances alongside Chick Corea in the Elektric Band. During his early twenties, he attended the Guitar Institute of Technology, authored teaching manuals, and served on its faculty from 1983 to 1986. His association with Corea began in 1986, and he has also collaborated with Steve Smith's Vital Information while releasing his own rock-focused recordings on the JVC label as a bandleader. Working together with bassist Stu Hamm and drummer Steve Smith proved productive for Gambale, resulting in multiple albums by the trio that grew more sophisticated with each release.
