Gaze

The indie-pop outfit Gaze, rooted in Vancouver, British Columbia, brought together vocalist and guitarist Miko Hoffman, vocalist and bassist Megan Mallett, and drummer Rose Melberg, the latter already recognized through her prior stints with Tiger Trap and the Softies. Following their pact with the storied K Records imprint, the threesome entered the marketplace in 1997 via the single “Seedless,” after which the full-length Mitsumeru appeared the next year and was soon followed by the seven-inch “So Sad (to watch good love go bad).”
