Biography
Stewart Copeland, the ex-Police drummer, assembled Level 42's Mark King on bass, King Crimson's Adrian Belew on guitar, and Italian multi-instrumentalist Vittorio Cosma on keys to finish songs he and Cosma had been shaping together ever since their 2003 work on the production of La Notte della Taranta. With producer Claudio Dentes, the musicians entered Milan studios to lay down what became Gizmodrome's debut album. Drawing from the four members' eclectic histories, the self-titled set, issued in mid-2017, presented the supergroup's wide-ranging fusion of art-rock and pop.
