Hellberg

Stockholm serves as home for Swedish producer and DJ Jonathan Hellberg, whose work centers on electronic and dance music. Music first captured his attention at age 13 after a friend opened the door to DJ culture and dance sounds. Those early encounters soon prompted him to test his own ideas inside the FL Studio program on his computer. Many adolescent years went into sharpening that ability, as he assembled hip-hop beats and house tracks posted to YouTube under the Hellberg name. By 2001 activity within the progressive house scene had taken hold, prompting a string of productions for Canadian label Monstercat. Multiple singers and producers joined him on those Monstercat releases, which included various singles issued in 2013 and 2014. The five-song solo EP This Is Me appeared in 2015.
