Biography
In Iowa, guitarist and vocalist Dave Deibler joined forces with bassist Barb Schilf and drummer Dave Berg to launch the alterna-pop outfit. Multiple seasons spent working the club circuit, paired with a handful of independent recordings, paved the way for a contract with Red Decibel/Columbia; there the group captured its first major-label album, My Ass-Kickin' Life, in 1994. Glass Cockpit surfaced in 1997, and Idiot's Out Wandering Around (I.O.W.A.) reached listeners in early 2001.
