Innuendo

Formed in 1992, the Malaysian R&B outfit Innuendo began with four members: Reymee bin Mohamed Hussein, Shamshul Azhar bin Nazeer, Ahmad Tajuddin bin Mohamed Tahir, and Saiful Amir bin Abdul Wahab. The ensemble focused on the uncommon craft of a cappella vocal performance and advanced the presence of boy-band-style acts throughout their home country. Their opening release, Innuendo, soon received a repackaged edition that added fresh tracks and new artwork. After Shamshul departed in 2002, the remaining trio pressed ahead and delivered BrandNuendo in August of that year. At the Anugerah Industri Musik Awards, they collected an honor and appeared onstage, concluding the year with additional performances across the region.
