Biography
Ivan Rebroff, the outsized German vocalist, arrived in the world ahead of schedule on a train platform in Berlin during 1931. Both parents being Russian immigrants, the widely celebrated singer nurtured a profound attachment to Russian folk songs, maintained a strong preference for red wine, and commanded a vocal span of four and a half octaves.
