James Reid

James Reid rose to prominence after claiming the Big Winner title on Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Clash 2010, an achievement that opened doors first to acting and later to a career as a pop-R&B performer. Born in Sydney, Australia, on May 11, 1993, he moved with his father to the Philippines at age 15. Nearing his seventeenth birthday, he joined the cast of Pinoy Big Brother and ultimately won the season, launching his path as an entertainer. In July 2011 he collaborated with fellow housemate Bret Jackson on the EP We Are Whatever, then issued his self-titled solo debut the following year. His film career gained traction in 2014 when he starred in Diary Ng Panget, a role quickly succeeded that same year by appearances in Talk Back and You're Dead and Relaks, It's Just Pag-Ibig. During 2015 he took parts in Para Sa Hopeless Romantic and Beauty and the Bestie while also delivering his second album, Reid Alert. Although 2016 brought no fresh recordings, he embarked on a tour alongside girlfriend Nadine Lustre and joined her in the television series Till I Met You. His third album, Palm Dreams, arrived in 2017.
