Biography
British saxophonist James Vargas performed multiple shows throughout London before crossing paths with Oli Silk, a smooth jazz keyboardist whose artistic leanings aligned closely with his own. Silk soon extended an invitation for Vargas to appear on a recording by the group Sugar & Silk, whose lineup also included bassist Danny Sugar. The collaboration yielded greater visibility for Vargas, prompting the release of his self-titled debut album on Trippin' 'N Rhythm Records in 2004.
