Jimmy Haslip

Jimmy Haslip earned his primary recognition serving as bassist, co-producer, and composer with the Yellowjackets, though he also issued independent recordings that included Arc in 1993 and the Latin-inspired Red Heat in 2000, a project spotlighting contributions from Luis Conte, Gino Vannelli, Vince Mendoza, Russell Ferrante, and Justo Almario. Red Heat reached the public in mid-2000.
