Josh Woodward

Emerging as the archetype of a self-reliant creator in the digital era, indie singer/songwriter Josh Woodward has constructed an autonomous career entirely through online channels. Beginning in 2004, the Findley, Ohio native has written and produced nearly a dozen albums of introspective, precisely arranged folk pop, distributing every release at no cost via his own website. Now residing in Ann Arbor, Michigan, this capable multi-instrumentalist has independently authored, tracked, and issued over 200 songs, overseeing their availability across assorted digital outlets and maintaining a YouTube presence that documents his studio methods in detail. Woodward’s incisive lyrics and keen melodic instincts allow his work to shift fluidly between witty sophistication and genuine approachability.
