Julie Lee

Julie Lee, a country singer and songwriter, spent her formative years in Maryland and initially channeled her creativity into sculpture ahead of any professional involvement in music. Following completion of an art degree during her college years, she relocated to Nashville and there took up songwriting while continuing to engage with visual art. Performances came later in her development, prompting her to issue three self-produced live CDs prior to signing with Compadre Records and recording Stillhouse Road for the label. Alison Krauss and Vince Gill appeared as guests on the album, which reached stores in October 2004.
