Biography
Kacey Jones, the Nashville-based singer-songwriter and musical humorist, blends standup comedy with country music to produce a potent combination that secured her profiles in People magazine and USA Today plus guest spots on NPR's Prairie Home Companion, television sitcoms, and film soundtracks. A native of the San Francisco Bay area, she issued her first album, Men Are Some of My Favorite People, in 1997. Later projects including Every Man I Love Is Either Married, Gay or Dead, Never Wear Panties to a Party, Sweet Potato Queens' Big-Ass Box of Music, and Kacey Jones Sings Mickey Newbury highlighted her skills as an observational humorist, composer, capable vocalist, and interpreter of human experience.
