Keith Ingham, a skilled swing pianist, produced enjoyable recordings during the 1990s and 2000s that revisited tunes from the 1930s on the Jump label. His professional work began in 1964, followed by a decade of activity in England alongside Sandy Brown, Bruce Turner, Wally Fawkes, and others. The year 1974 brought recording sessions with Bob Wilber and Bud Freeman, and by 1978 he had relocated to New York. There he performed with Benny Goodman and the World's Greatest Jazz Band while serving as musical director and pianist for Susannah McCorkle. Three albums with Maxine Sullivan also resulted from his efforts, along with collaborations involving Marty Grosz and Harry Allen, a tour with the Eddie Condon Memorial Band, and his own dates for Sackville and Stomp Off in addition to Jump.
