Biography
Kemper Norton, an experimental artist who describes his approach as "slurtronic," merges found sounds and messy drones with British folk elements to produce aural collages that evoke both his immediate environment and episodes from his youth. He first appeared in the early 2010s via a run of digital releases, after which his debut vinyl EP Lowermoor and first CD Carn both arrived in 2013. The Manchester label Front and Follow released his 2014 album Loor, accompanied by the bonus CD Salvaged, along with Toll in 2016. He issued Hungan digitally under his own name in 2017.
