Biography
Kevin Cronin gained his primary renown serving as lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist for REO Speedwagon. His first tenure with the ensemble lasted only briefly in the early 1970s and produced his initial recorded appearance on the 1972 album R.E.O./T.W.O. He exited the lineup soon afterward yet rejoined in time to participate on the 1976 album R.E.O. During the group’s most successful period he fronted the band and supplied vocals for signature tracks that include “Keep on Loving You” and “Can't Fight This Feeling.” He also competed on a celebrity installment of the program Don't Forget the Lyrics, directing the proceeds to MusiCares.
