Born in Louisiana, Houston rapper King Hendrick$ commands a deep, resonant delivery rooted in the longstanding Texas tradition embodied by Bun B and Z-Ro. He began crafting rhymes in his native state before relocating to Texas, where his first release arrived early in 2015 as the single “Can't Be Touched.” Additional cuts surfaced later that year: the collaboration “Boss in my City” alongside Sauce Walka and StreetKing, and the solo track “King of the Hill.” All three recordings subsequently appeared on his 2016 debut mixtape Addicted to Living.
