Landrick stands out as an Angolan vocalist and composer whose output blends sensual, romantic R&B with subtle Afro-pop accents. He first drew widespread attention via the 2015 single “Me Agarra Só Uhm,” then steadily expanded his audience in both Angola and Portugal through later releases and full-length projects such as the 2018 album Zolana.

Born Lando Ndombele in Luanda, he began sharpening his abilities during adolescence by performing regularly at a local Seventh Day Adventist church, where he also obtained structured vocal instruction. Over the ensuing period he cultivated a polished delivery particularly well suited to the intimate ballad style he favored. During a stay in Portugal he entered an agreement with the Bom Som production company, which released his first single, “Me Agarra Só Uhm.” The track became a major success across Angola and appeared on his 2015 album Mr. Confuso, which additionally featured the popular cuts “Fila da Goda” and “Há Mulheres e Mulheres.” The resulting exposure prompted a 2017 joint appearance with fellow Angolan vocalist Anna Joyce on the Portuguese program Love on TOP. In 2018 he returned with the follow-up album Zolana, fronted by the upbeat single “Kuyuyu.” The seductive track “Já Quero” surfaced the next year, followed in 2020 by the CEF Tanzy collaboration “Teu Panco.”
