Lee Gamble crafts intricate soundscapes that blend elements of club music with experimental electronic forms, incorporating ideas drawn from philosophy and technological advancements. His initial recognition came through the 2012 releases Diversions 1994-1996 and Dutch Tvashar Plumes, both albums presenting ethereal ambient reworkings of jungle and techno styles. Koch, issued in 2014, delivered intense experimental techno pieces, while Mnestic Pressure in 2017 offered a more intricate, intellectually engaging collection featuring altered jungle and IDM elements. The three EPs were later assembled into the 2019-2021 compilation Flush Real Pharynx, featuring compositions with a sculptural quality that address consumerism alongside modern urban existence. Gamble incorporated synthetic and broken vocal elements into his 2023 album Models.

Born in Birmingham and now based in London, this producer and DJ began his career within the jungle community, performing on pirate radio and helping establish the CYRK collective. Building upon those foundational experiences, he pursued an experimental approach to sound design by affiliating with Entr'acte, through which he put out the 2006 mini-album 80mm O!I!O, the 2009 album Join Extensions, and a 2010 cassette collaboration with Yutaka Makino. Transitioning to Bill Kouligas' Pan imprint, he unveiled the deconstructed jungle project Diversions 1994-1996 in 2012, which was quickly succeeded by the echoing, techno-infused Dutch Tvashar Plumes. These two works received widespread praise, appearing on annual lists compiled by The Wire and Fact magazines. As a sought-after DJ, he performs sets spanning house and techno or dedicated vinyl selections from jungle's "The Golden Age of Jungle," as he refers to it.

He further refined his techno approach in 2014 via the EP Kuang and the album Koch. This was followed by the 2015 12" B23 Steelhouse. He established the innovative club-focused label UIQ, responsible for releases from ZULI, S Olbricht, and Lanark Artefax, along with his own 2016 EP Chain Kinematics. Signing with Hyperdub in 2017 led to the release of the abstract club record Mnestic Pressure. The initial installment of the Flush Real Pharynx series, the EP In a Paraventral Scale, came out in 2019. Exhaust was issued later that year, with A Million Pieces of You completing the trilogy in 2021; the three parts were subsequently gathered as Flush Real Pharynx 2019-2021. This series delved into subjects including artificial intelligence and the intense sensory input from urban and digital environments. Models appeared in 2023 as a slower, atmospheric record that features cybernetic vocals delivering catchy yet fragmented phrases.
