Biography
Emerging during the final years of the 1960s, the band merged horn-augmented soul-rock with stronger compositions that drew on jazz-inflected arrangements and songwriting marked by a somewhat spacy quality. Comparable efforts remained scarce throughout that period, save perhaps for the marginally better-known Insect Trust. Though a peripheral act, the group produced compelling work when operating at its strongest.
