Biography
Lucie Arnaz, recognized chiefly as the acting offspring of Lucille Ball, rarely comes to mind as a vocalist. Even so, her agreeable singing voice enables her to deliver standards in swinging fashion on those infrequent occasions when the chance presents itself. The 1993 release Just in Time on Concord spotlighted this talent through a big-band setting that included guest appearances by Gary Foster, Ken Peplowski, and Bob Cooper, while reflecting the style of her principal vocal influence, Rosemary Clooney.
