Mark With A K

Originating from Belgium, DJ Mark Carpentier launched his professional path by spinning records in neighborhood bars and clubs upon turning 17. After sharpening his technique, he later hosted a program on C-Dance radio while also appearing at the station’s events across Antwerp. The year 1998 brought him the resident spot at Highstreet club, an offer extended by Marc Grouls. As his profile rose and audiences expanded, Carpentier moved into original production and began cutting tracks for Jumper Records under the name Mark with a K. In 2003 he issued the single “Pure Perfection” alongside fellow DJ Danny C. Through the remainder of the decade he followed with multiple 12-inch releases on Zoo Records and GS2.
