Biography
Mary Schneider, born in Australia, commands the traditional Swiss Alpine approach to yodeling after refining her exceptional skill across decades of dedicated practice. On the 1997 release Yodeling the Classics she applied this approach to deliver yodeled renditions of familiar classical works together with selected marches and European folk melodies. The recording cultivated a devoted niche audience and led to an appearance by Schneider on Howard Stern's radio program.
