Biography
Meryn Cadell, working as a singer and songwriter, spent more than five years appearing in Toronto nightclubs before issuing an independent cassette whose title loosely echoed her own name, Mare-In Ka-Dell. Capitol then signed the artist and brought out her first full-length project, Angel Food for Thought, during 1991. National success for the track “The Sweater” arrived only in 1992, with meaningful impact on American college rock surfacing still later. Bombazine appeared the following year.
