The Pursuit Of Happiness

Pursuit of Happiness emerged from Toronto as the outlet for singer, guitarist, and songwriter Moe Berg’s dry romantic reflections, channeling a style of power-pop shaped by Todd Rundgren’s touch; Rundgren also helmed the first two albums. Alongside Berg, the lineup included guitarist Kris Abbott, bassist Johnny Sinclair, drummer Dave Gilburg, and backing vocalist Leslie Stanwyck. The band hit the road with Duran Duran and Eurythmics behind its 1988 debut, Love Junk. One Sided Story brought aboard Bran Barker on bass and vocalist Susan Murumets.
