Biography
Born in Ontario, Canada, in 1952, Kim Mitchell launched the band Max Webster during 1973. Once the group disbanded he launched a solo career, issuing his debut album under his own name in 1982. Its 1984 successor, Akimbo Alogo, achieved the strongest commercial showing of his catalog; propelled by the single “Go for Soda,” the record attained double-platinum status in Canada. The next releases arrived in steady succession: Shakin’ like a Human Being (1986), Rockland (1989), I Am a Wild Party (1990), and Aural Fixations (1992).
