Biography
Bruce Fairbairn, whose prior credits included Loverboy and Prism, formed Strange Advance around the lineup of Paul Iverson, Drew Arnott and Darryl Kromm. The band's first album, Worlds Away, earned gold certification in Canada on the strength of the single "She Controls Me." Strange Advance later issued the additional albums 2wo in 1985, The Distance Between in 1988 and Over 60 Minutes with Strange Advance in 1989.
