Biography
In 1983 bassist Brad Hopkins joined forces with drummer Derrick Murphy, vocalist and guitarist Chris Tait, and keyboard player Tad Winklarz to establish Chalk Circle. The quartet built a following through gigs across Toronto and secured a deal with Duke Street Records in 1986. Their opening EP, The Great Lake, spotlighted the songs “April Fool” and “Me, Myself and I.” Mending Wall surfaced the following year.
