Biography
Taking up guitar and songwriting while still a teenager, Alfie Zappacosta went on to front the band Surrender between 1979 and 1983. His first solo album, issued under his own name in 1984, yielded a pair of Canadian hits; his next release, A-Z, arrived in 1986. Four years after that he put out Quick...Don't Ask Any Questions. Zappacosta has also acted in the Canadian theater.
