Biography

Rie Mitsutake of Yokohama, Japan, records under the name Miko as a singer and multi-instrumentalist. She first captured her dream pop-inspired material on an eight-track recorder during the opening years of the 2000s. In 2005 she moved to laptop production, weaving additional electronic and acoustic layers into her work. The Plop label issued her debut album, Parade, in 2008.
