Biography
Scott and Jennifer Smith form the singer-songwriter duo behind the Americana group Naked Blue. They joined forces in 1992, ultimately penning more than 100 songs and performing close to 1,500 concerts. Their debut release, Treasure and the Pearl, arrived in 1994 and earned the band considerable recognition throughout the mid-Atlantic area. Four years afterward, selections from the follow-up album Wish appeared on multiple television series as well as on Quincy Jones’s The Smokers. Additional placements followed in The Young & the Restless and the CBS film About Sarah. The third album, Thursday, October 21st, came out in fall 2000 and highlighted the group’s acoustic strengths, while Shaving Lucky surfaced during the same season.
